About this Cat
dob 11/30/20 Kimber is one of the Kalkaska 38, the huge hoarding and abandonment rescue TC Paw did over the Labor Day weekend. You can read about it here on the website. Kimber had a rough start in his foster home. He was almost unapproachably frightened, and stomach problems plagued him. His foster family had a difficult time drawing him out, but they kept at it. They knew he loved chin scritches, so they used that to make him relax and trust them. They found meds to fix his stomach and a prescription diet to maintain it. When he finally came out of hiding, he loved it! Kimber is just crazy for petting all over – chin, neck, face, ears, back, and belly. He meows for attention, falls over on his side, and twists all around to help his foster mom get to all the spots he wants petted. She says she has never seen a cat who revels in being petted and rubbed more than Kimber. He spends every evening purring on the sofa with his people. He stretches out so luxuriously that even though he’s just a little guy, you’d swear he’s four feet long. His tail curves over his back like a sled dog's. He plays with toys and lives peacefully with the other cats in his foster home. Though Kimber has come an amazingly long way, he may need time to feel safe again in a new home with new people. Be patient, and you’ll soon have a sweet buddy who loves your touch.

Adopt Kimber and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Kimber's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Kimber's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Kimber, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Kimber's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kimber was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kimber’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Kimber’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kimber’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
