About this Dog
We are reaching out with very heavy hearts to find a loving, forever home for our sweet boy, Bluey. This is an incredibly difficult decision for our family, and we want nothing more than to make sure he finds a home where he will be loved, spoiled, and treated like the special dog he is.
A little about Bluey:

❤️ Very lovable and affectionate
👧 Great with children, although he has not been around babies or toddlers
🥰 Loves ice cubes, any human food, walks, playing with toys, and hanging out.
🚫 does not like his feet touched (including nail trims), getting wet (but loves the snow) , friends too close to him during mealtime.
Bluey is a wonderful dog, but unfortunately, he had an interaction with our Shih Tzu/poodle, and because of the significant size difference, we cannot safely continue having both dogs in the same home. As heartbreaking as this is, we know we need to do what is best for everyone involved. He plays well with our Shih Tzus but when there is an altercation; our littles ones is outsized .
We believe Bluey could thrive in a home where he is the only dog. Depending on the individual dogs and a careful introduction, he may also be a good fit with a larger dog. He has never been around cats, so we cannot say how he would do with them.
We love Bluey dearly, and this decision is not being made because he isn’t loved or wanted. Sometimes, despite how much we love our pets, circumstances require us to make incredibly difficult choices for their safety and well-being.
We want to find him a family who will give him the attention, affection, and pampered life he deserves. We are happy to send him with his toys, food, and complete veterinary records to help make his transition as comfortable as possible.
Our biggest priority is finding him a safe, responsible, and loving home where he will be cherished for the rest of his life.
Letting him go is breaking our hearts, but knowing he is safe, loved, and happy in the right home would mean everything to us.

How will Bluey receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Bluey, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Bluey's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bluey was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bluey’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Bluey’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bluey’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
