Beautiful Brianna, whose original/real name is Ellie loves attention! She comes purring for her pets. Her original owner had to move into a nursing home and could not keep her. We want to find her the most special home as she is so deserving and sweet. She would prefer to be the only cat because she gets nervous around other cats but loves to be close to her human! She needs a cat savvy person that has lots of love to offer because of the changes she has gone through after losing her human. We want her to know she is loved and get her into her forever home soon because we know cats mourn to. Whoever adopts this sweetie will be so happy and so loved by her. And Ellie can be happy again! You can meet some of our adorable cats and kittens during store hours at PetSmart, 385 Haggerty Rd. in Commerce Township. All of our cats and kittens are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Brianna (Ellie) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Brianna (Ellie)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Brianna (Ellie)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Brianna (Ellie)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
