***SPECIAL ADOPTION PRICE*** Grace Hopper is such beautiful girl! She was rescued last summer when someone noticed that she was crossing a busy road regularly. Grace deserves a safe, loving home. She loves string toys and to look outside. She whips her fluffy tail around like a feather duster when she walks. She will “make biscuits” for 20 minutes before settling down for a nap on her Foster’s lap. She is spicy, but affectionate. She would be happiest in a quieter home as an only pet. Her new family needs to be patient as she’s been through a lot yet is still so sweet! Grace really has a lot of love to give. You will fall in love with her when you meet her. All of our cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for FIV/FELV , and up to date on vaccinations including rabies, distemper, and dewormer. You can meet some of our adorable cats and kittens during store hours at PetSmart, 385 Haggerty Rd. in Commerce Township. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Grace Hopper was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Grace Hopper’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Grace Hopper’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Grace Hopper’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
