Miss Tiramisu is a sweet brown tabby that is ready to meet her forever family. She was outside and pregnant before her rescuer got her to LOCRA. Once inside she immediately demanded head scratches and started her purr motor. After 3 weeks of cuddles she gave birth to her 6 kittens. This wonderful mom has raised her babies and is looking to be loved on. She enjoys cuddles and getting scratched behind the ears forever and has a very loud purr to let you know how much she loves it. Tiramisu likes playing with catnip toys and balls, most especially her banana that she can bunny kick. She would do best in a home with adults or older children. Tiramisu was diagnosed with feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV). FIV cats can (and often do) live long, healthy lives, just like other non-infected cats, with just a few changes made to their routine and care. All of our cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for FIV/FELV , and up to date on vaccinations including rabies, distemper, and dewormer. You can meet some of our adorable cats and kittens during store hours at PetSmart, 385 Haggerty Rd. in Commerce Township. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Tiramisu's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tiramisu was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tiramisu’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Tiramisu’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tiramisu’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
