Ophelia is my name and I have been chillin in room 1 for just over a year and a half and I am ready to go! My reasoning you ask? This may sound silly, but it's because of the lack of available windows. There are just 2 windows that I get to look out each day, and the other kitties usually get there before I do. I absolutely love watching birds. I chatter to them like I'm singing the song of my people just hoping they will come visit me...hasn't worked though. I'm hoping that if I go to my furever home, they will have lots of windows and I might have the chance to get them there. Do you have a lot of windows?Oh, I was told I probably should tell you a little bit more about me so you would actually want me to go home with you. I am about 4 1/2 years old, I am a very soft female who loves to be pet. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ophelia was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ophelia’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Ophelia’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ophelia’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
