Hi! I’m Aruba – and I’m basically a rocket with fur. I’m 3 years young, a Belgian Malinois with a bit of GSD mixed in, and I’ve got enough energy to power a small village. If you’re looking for a couch potato, I’m gonna stop you right there—unless that couch also throws the ball 300 times a day. I love people. All people. Tall people, small people, people who sit on the ground and let me smother them in kisses—those are my favorite. I will absolutely try to sit in your lap, even if physics says I shouldn’t.Balls? Obsessed. Tug toys? Bring them. Running? Yes. Jumping? Absolutely—fun fact: I’m a world-class fence jumper and escape artist. So, you’ll need to be smarter than me (good luck) and have secure containment. I know “sit,” “down,” “place,” and “recall,” and while I try to walk nicely on leash, I sometimes get so excited I pull like a sled dog training for the Iditarod.Cats? I’d rather chase them than live with them. Other dogs? They're okay, but I’m more of a “people’s dog.” I’ve got enough personality for a whole pack anyway.I’m a high-performance working dog with the snuggle settings turned all the way up. I like long runs on the beach, high-speed fetch sessions, intense games of tug, and flopping dramatically for belly rubs like I’m starring in a soap opera.If you want a best friend who’s affectionate, driven, loyal, and will never let you go to the bathroom alone again, I’m your girl. The applicant must drive the remainder of the distance of the transport.
