About this Cat
This sweet girl is an incredibly affectionate cat who absolutely loves being close to her people. She is happiest curled up beside you, soaking up pets, asking for scratches, and reminding you just how nice it is to have a loving little companion nearby. If you are looking for a cat who truly enjoys affection and wants to be part of your everyday life, she has so much love to give.
She does have one challenge that her future family should know about: she has developed a habit of peeing just outside of her litter box. She uses the litter box area, but for some reason does not always quite make it inside. Her adopter will need to be patient and willing to work with her, including exploring different litter box setups and support.
We hope this small hurdle does not overshadow what a wonderful cat she is. She is loving, cuddly, gentle, and deeply affectionate — the kind of cat who can make a home feel warmer just by being there. How will Millie receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Millie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Millie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Millie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Millie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Millie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Millie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
