About this Cat
It breaks my heart, but after 7 years, I'm afraid that we need to rehome our beloved family cat, Fluffy. He is well loved, but unfortunately, regardless of many attempts over the past couple of years, he has been urinating outside of his litter box. It is not a daily occurrence and sometimes it can be months in between but then when he relapses it can be multiple times a week and at this point, we just can't keep up with it anymore. Due to health reasons, we have never allowed him to sleep in bedrooms with us, so we have always confined him to the basement in the evenings. It seems like the accidents are happening either at night when he's in the basement or when we are gone for an extended period of time. We even decided to bring him to a cat boarding facility during our last vacation to see if it helped since we know he doesn't like to be alone and although he did very well at the boarding facility, he still had issues when he came home. He is such a sweet cat and loves to be around people and will mostly just relax on the couch next to me during the day while I work (I work from home full time) or come and snuggle up with me and my daughter if we're on the couch reading. We have 3 children and he has always been good with them, even as newborns, and they are very fond of him as well. I hate to take this step but the accidents have caused so much tension and anxiety in our house that we just don't see another path forward.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Fluffy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Fluffy’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
