With his medium soft coat and double dew claws, he's not just handsome—he's a showstopper! John Paul is the ultimate housemate. He's housebroken, loves his crate, and follows his foster mom everywhere—he is a wonderful companion. He loves playing and running with his doggy pals but knows how to chill indoors or hang out in the yard with his foster sister! John Paul is a silly and playful boy who chases the butterflies in the yard! He is a gem on a leash, making him the perfect walking buddy! Though he might be a bit shy at first, once he warms up, he's all about the cuddles. Grooming? No problem! He handles brushing, nail trimming, and ear cleaning like a pro. He's even learning to enjoy car rides. He loves his toys and has taught his foster sister to play with them! This boy is learning so much in his foster home! Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
