About this Dog
Capone 6 yrs old, 35 lbs. he does not like strangers or other animals. He is a sweet loving dog with the two of us. He is cuddly and affectionate. He is extremely smart and learns very quickly. He is potty trained(he will let you know when he has to go out), and knows a few commands, but will learn new ones easily. Capone is an indoor dog, but loves walks and new smells. We are in an apartment, but he loves to get out and run! He is very protective of my girlfriend. He is a good guard dog, even though he is not huge. He love to play ball and adores squeaky toys. He needs a home that will love him, but he can’t be around animals that will try to take his things. He hasn’t been exposed to young children, but I don’t think that would be a good fit. Ideal home is single owner or older couple.

How will Capone receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Capone, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Capone's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Capone was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Capone’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Capone’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Capone’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
