About this Dog
Say howdy to Ray, our floofy ray of sunshine! Ray is our recent addition to rescue, and he is more than ready to find his furever family. Ray has good manners, understands his basic cues, and is very eager to please. You got treats? - Ask him to sit and he will go bum down and head tilted waiting like a good boy for his reward - what's not to love about that?! Just like his namesake, Ray is a ball of sunshine and playfulness, and he has this special talent of spreading joy and happiness wherever he goes. This sweet boy is always eager for some enthusiastic playtime with his foster siblings; however, if no one else is available, Ray is also content to entertain himself with a variety of toys. Once you see the fun he has with toys, it is almost impossible not to join in the play with Ray. He also walks well on leash, does fine on car rides, and tolerates brushing. He enjoys the air conditioning, but also likes being outside as well, so a secure, 5’ privacy fenced-in yard would be great (he can climb chain-link). Ray is a confident pup, not showing any fears or dislikes, and he doesn’t dig. This lovely boy is quite the smart cookie, and he will thrive in a medium-to-highly active household where his people will work with him to learn new tricks. We are pawsitive that Ray will be your best adventure buddy in no time!
