About this Dog
Meet Luna – Low Rider, High Hopes Luna might look like a tough girl with her merle coat, muscular build, and “don’t-mess-with-me” face—but let us tell you a secret: she’s basically a cuddly marshmallow on four very short legs. This American Bully beauty came to us after clearly being used as a breeder and status symbol. Those days are behind her now, and she’s living the good life—belly rubs, short walks (literally), and lots of love. Yes, she’s a bit chunky. Luna’s rocking some extra curves and could stand to lose about 15 pounds, but she’s already working on her fitness with the help of her two energetic Cane Corso foster sisters. She may not be built for speed, but she’s got heart—and she’s out there trying her best to keep up with her taller siblings (from somewhere near ground level). She’s friendly with people, sweet as pie, and does well with respectful, patient dogs. She may not win any high jump contests, but she’ll definitely win you over with her soulful eyes and signature wiggle. ✅ Merle-coated masterpiece ✅ Low center of gravity = great snuggle stability ✅ Great with people & calm dog friends ✅ 10/10 would roll for treats Luna is ready to leave her past behind and roll her way into a forever home that appreciates a good low-to-the-ground lovebug with a heart of gold.

100% of Luna's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Luna.
Adopt Luna and Receive Luna's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Luna's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Luna's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Luna, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Luna's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Luna was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Luna’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Luna’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Luna’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
