About this Dog
Meet Kit Kat! This 11-month old (calorie free!) sweet treat came to us from local animal control after her owner could no longer care for her and she is delectable! To say Kat is dog-friendly is the understatement of the year. Originally in a household with 6 other dogs, this petite pittie comes alive in the presence of other dogs. She is submissive and tolerant of lots of different canine (and feline) personalities and would LOVE another dog in the house as a best friend. Kit Kat has her own hilarious personality! She has the most extensive regime of stretches every time she gets up from a lounge session and we wonder if she’s mimicking Sun Salutation version A or B. Gimme a break – she is adorable! Her coat is the perfect balance of rich dark chocolate and wafer coloring and with those sweet milk chocolate freckles dotted across her nose and her delicate features, she is next-level cute! And that perfectly symmetrical heart on her left side puts her love on display for all to see. Everything about Kat is dainty – her face, her paws, her personality. She is a soft dog, with an even softer personality and is a pure delight. Because she had only known one home in her short life, she needed a bit of time to come around in her foster home, and having canine foster brothers and sisters has helped tremendously. She enjoys their company immensely and has the best (and most frequent!) play bow we have ever seen. It’s kind of her signature move. Indulging in candy is a reminder to treat ourselves with kindness and Kat will definitely add a touch of sweetness to your life. This charmingly sensitive spirit is house- and crate-trained, dog- and cat-friendly, and ready to sweeten the lives of a lucky forever family. Break off a piece of bliss today! Because of her lack of history, older kids would be best for Kat. Kit Kat’s top 3 priorities: 1. A family with another resident dog (or two!) to give Kat confidence and let her be her playful self! 2. A family devoted to making the world a kind place and letting Kat go at her own pace with new experiences. 3. A family with lots and lots of love to make Kat feel safe and one where she can snuggle into bed at night for alllll the cuddles.

Adopt Kit Kat and Receive Kit Kat's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Kit Kat's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Kit Kat's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Kit Kat, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Kit Kat's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kit Kat was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kit Kat’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Kit Kat’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kit Kat’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
