About this Dog
Roscoe is a sweet and cuddly boy looking for his forever home. He is a social butterfly and will want to hang out with all dogs he meets. When he arrives to a new home, he will need a few hours to decompress but after that, he will quickly show his outgoing personality. In his videos, you can see that he likes to play with other dogs in a balanced well and he respects other dogs' boundaries. He especially loves to hang out with females pups. Inside the house, he tends to act calm and likes to sleep with his foster parents whenever he is allowed to. Just like many dogs, he is scared of thunder but will feel safe if he is accompanied by his dog friends and his humans. We don't know how he behaves with kittens but he can be cat-tested if requested. Roscoe is crate, potty and leash-trained. Rescue story: Roscoe was found roaming around in an isolated area on the outskirts of East Houston. His foster mom spotted him and opened the door of her car for him. Roscoe was quick to jump inside and this is how he finally became a house dog again. On his first veterinary visit, the doctor said that Roscoe had a hip fracture, possibly caused by a car, but that this fracture didn't need repair surgery. Roscoe has his x-rays to prove that the fracture didn't need surgery. After a couple of months in foster, he started walking better (when he arrived, his hip was a little wobbly) and now, he walks almost normally. This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is neutered. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption. If this is the case, your adoption coordinator will provide guidance on the process). To adopt or learn more about this dog, you must complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com.PLEASE READ: • If a dog or puppy is listed, they are currently available for adoption. Adopt Roscoe and Receive Roscoe's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Roscoe's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Roscoe's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Roscoe, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Roscoe's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Roscoe was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Roscoe’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Roscoe’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Roscoe’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
