About this Dog
Meet Marty – your new best buddy! Marty is a goofy and affectionate bulldog mix who’s all about his people. He loves hanging out, getting attention, and sharing all the cuddles. If you’re looking for a dog who will light up your home with love and energy, Marty might just be the one! Marty came to us as an owner surrender along with his canine companion, Kyra. They lived in harmony together, but they don’t need to find a home together—Marty is more than ready to shine as the center of attention in his own loving family. Marty does best as the only pet in the home. While he can stay neutral around other dogs with supervision, he’s not one to back down from trying to be the boss if given the chance. He’s all about the human connection, so he’d love to soak up all the love you can give! Marty is a great fit for older kids who can match his playful energy and appreciate his goofy personality. He might be a little much for small kids, but older ones will love his fun-loving nature. He’d also do well in a calm, quiet home, where he can relax and feel secure. He’s moderately food- and toy-motivated, so he’s trainable with a bit of patience and consistency. Marty’s also working on feeling better in a crate—he just needs some time and reassurance to settle in. This sweet boy is ready to meet his forever family. Could it be you? Apply now to bring Marty home and make him your new best friend! This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption. If this is the case, your adoption coordinator will provide guidance on the process.) To adopt or learn more about this dog, you must complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com. PLEASE READ: • If a dog or puppy is listed, they are currently available for adoption. However, they may already be pending an adoption, and their profile may not yet reflect this. • All information is accurate to the best of our knowledge as of the posting date. • Unless explicitly stated, Sandy Paws Rescue does not guarantee the breed of any dog. Breeds listed are educated guesses made by shelter staff, volunteers, or veterinarians. Many of our dogs are mixed breeds, often with pit bull-type genetics, resulting in a wide variety of physical traits and temperaments. Our dogs come from various situations, such as kill shelters, owner surrenders, or as strays. It is likely both parents were mixed breeds as well. Sandy Paws Rescue does not have a public shelter in Massachusetts. Our dogs reside in private foster homes or boarding kennels in the South until adopted. Many dogs are spoken for prior to transport or release from state-mandated isolation. For information on adoption fees, procedures, or FAQs, visit our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com. The FIRST step in adopting from Sandy Paws Rescue is to submit a completed adoption application.

Adopt Marty and Receive Marty's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Marty's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Marty's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Marty, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Marty's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Marty was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Marty’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Marty’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Marty’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
