About this Rabbit
Meet the beautiful, wonderful Joan! Joan's been living in foster for the past few months raising her babies, but now she's ready for the next chapter in her life. Joan's a happy, energetic, curious rabbit that loves human attention and interaction. Joan's curious nature would do best in a rabbit-saavy household where she can have a large area of the home to explore, and find the perfect area to flop down for a snooze. She's been doing very well with her litterbox training, but as she expands to more areas of the home, she may need a little reminder.Joanie is bonded to her best friend, Chipmunk, her fellow rabbit companion. Joan's brave nature is helping Chipmunk come out of his shell more- and she's not going to leave him behind now! If you think you are a good fit and would like to learn more, stop by our Boston Adoption Center. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm-3pm â no appointment needed.*Before coming to the adoption center, we ask that you have a housing unit ready, in case you end up finding an animal youâd like to adopt. We adopt our rabbits to live indoors only and in exercise pens instead of cages. Rabbits need a minimum 8 sqft of space enclosed by an exercise pen; plus access to an additional 24 sqft of space outside of their enclosure to exercise and play in for a minimum of 4 hours daily with supervision. For more information on our adoption process, please visit https://www.mspca.org/adoption-centers/how-to-adopt/

100% of JOAN's balance will be sent to whoever adopts JOAN.
Adopt JOAN and Receive JOAN's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, JOAN's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is JOAN's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the JOAN, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming JOAN's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and JOAN was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, JOAN’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the JOAN’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, JOAN’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
