My adoption fee will be waived July 22 - 27 as part of theAMERICA RUNS ON DOGGOS DROOL-ATTA Adoption Event!! Meet Alex a lively, lovable pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Alex is currently on the road to recovery after TPLO surgery and is also undergoing treatment for heartworm. While hes on strict activity restriction for now, dont let that fool youthis boy has energy to spare and a playful spirit thats just waiting to shine once hes healed. Because of his high energy and temporary limitations, Alex will need a patient and experienced home that can help him channel that zest for life into brain games, enrichment activities, and plenty of mental stimulation. Hes working hard on being a good boy during recovery, and hes making great progress with structure and support. When hes had his fill of mental fun and the zoomies are out of his system (at least in theory), Alex melts into a total cuddle bug. If you`re looking for a smart, spirited companion and you`re ready to help guide him through his healing journey, Alex just might be your perfect match. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm-3pm no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available dogs. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) theyre interested in - and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and ALEX was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, ALEX’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the ALEX’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, ALEX’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
