About this Dog
Name: KobaAge: 2Breed: Lab mixCurrent size: 50lbsSize potential: full grownLeash trained: yesCrate Trained: yesPotty trained: yesKids:yesOther animals:dogs yes cats not sureEnergy level:medium House or apartment: eitherStory/background: Koba was a street dog looking for furry friends when he encountered a vile human. He was greeting a woman’s dogs through the holes of her chain link fence when he was attacked by the woman who then dowsed him in Pepper spray. He toppled out in front of my car I almost hit him. I didn’t realize what was going on until I got out to start recording like I normally do for the street dogs I come across. That’s when I got close enough to his face and my eyes and mouth started to burn. Poor baby was so distraught that he threw him self on the ground again trying to make the pain stop he kept rubbing his face I had to flush his eyes with water and clean his face for the next few days he continued to have puffy read swollen eyes. After he was healed he got to meet he’s new furry best friends and soon forgot all the trauma he endured.Ideal home/family lifestyle: Koba needs a home with a semi active family. Someone who would like to take him on adventures where he can play without fear of being peppersprayed. Koba may look intimidating but he’s the biggest teddy bear you will ever meet

Adopt Koba and Receive Koba's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Koba's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Koba's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Koba, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Koba's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Koba was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Koba’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Koba’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Koba’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
