MEET LICORICE - Watch my videos!*Would like to go home to another cat!*Playful, purrful and soft older kitten!Licorice is OFD - originally from Dorchester. This handsome young cat came in off the streets but is showing us social behaviors like purring and leaning into pets - watch his video! We recently moved him into our Dedham Colony Room, where he got comfy very quickly meeting new feline friends, and was soon making biscuits and playing (watch his video!). He seems very relaxed with other cats so we would like him to have a cat friend in his new home. Licorice has the funniest squeaky meow that must be heard to be believed! He also has exceptionally soft fur. Come to Dedham to pet him yourself! Licorice is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team.For more information on this or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and LICORICE was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, LICORICE’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the LICORICE’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, LICORICE’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
