Adoptable in: MAGood with dogs: Yes, with proper introsGood with cats: Yes, dog-savvy catsGood with kids: Likely yes, dog savvy kids Crate trained: NoHouse trained: YesBentley is a laid-back, affectionate pup who’s happiest when he’s curled up next to his people. He loves belly rubs, pets, and just being part of the action in a calm and predictable home.Bentley does well with other dogs but may appreciate a little space when it comes to sharing his immediate surroundings. Because he’s shown interest in small animals outside, a home with dog-savvy cats would likely be the best fit. Bentley should live in a home with older children who understand how to respect a dog’s space and can give him time to feel comfortable. He’s fully house trained and has done great being left home alone for extended periods without issue. While he’s not currently crate trained, he settles down easily when left alone and will nap the day away. Bentley knows his name and responds well to basic commands like "sit" and "down." With his love of food and calm temperament, he’s a great candidate for continued training. He can be a little hesitant in new situations and benefits from consistency and patience, but with the right support, he builds trust and settles in beautifully.*Bentley is part of our Medical Foster-to-Adopt Program as he is on a daily medication. If you're interested in learning more, we will connect you with our Medical Team to explain the process! Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. Adopt Bentley and Receive Bentley's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Bentley's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Bentley's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Bentley, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Bentley's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bentley was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bentley’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bentley’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bentley’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
