He is a charming dog with a quirky and fun personality. He has a low to medium energy level; he loves playing with toys and romping in the backyard, but will settle in his crate for a post play nap. He can be a bit reserved around new people, taking time to warm up, but with slow approaches and some treats, he is quick to become your new best friend. He would do amazing in a home with out without a doggy sibling. This lover of all dogs wants to go say hi to every pup he meets! He thrives being around other dogs. He has ignored the four cats in his foster home and has done well with kids, although he would do best with dog savvy children who can give him the space he needs while he gets to know them. He loves his toys, especially his squeaky ones and will entertain himself often, making him a low maintenance puppy. Albus is crate trained and will happily go in for meals and bedtime. He is also houetrained. He is still working on his leash skills, mostly due to being a bit nervous in a new environment. With patience and understanding, this sweet boy will surely come out of his shell and learn that leash equals fun walks and possible play time with other pups. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Albus Allen was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Albus Allen’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Albus Allen’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Albus Allen’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
