About this Cat
MEET CHEDDAH! Vocal, Needy and Super Sweet! To anyone who says that `cats are independent` we'd like to introduce you to Cheddah who arrived as a friendly stray, with LOTS to say. Cheddah likes to chat, boy does he like to chat. It would be in everyone's best interest to have Cheddah live in a single family home or in an apartment where the neighbors are out of earshot because Cheddah meows when he wants attention. Cheddah meows when he is lonely. Cheddah meows when he is happy. Cheddah meows when he is hungry. Cheddah might just meow when people are sleeping. Don't get us wrong, Cheddah is a DOLL who loves pets, flops on feet, sits on laps and just loves attention, period but he is a needy guy. Will his attention-seeking behavior dwindle with time, we don't know. For now, Cheddah's new person has to understand that during his stay with us, his vocalization has not changed much. Cheddah would love someone who works from home or a family who has someone always around as he has yet to meet anyone he doesn't love, except dogs. Ched is not a fan of dogs. Cheddah is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. For more information on Cheddah or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.

Adopt CHEDDAH and Receive CHEDDAH's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, CHEDDAH's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is CHEDDAH's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the CHEDDAH, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming CHEDDAH's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and CHEDDAH was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, CHEDDAH’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the CHEDDAH’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, CHEDDAH’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
