We think she would enjoy living with one or two adults who are looking for a quiet cat companion with whom they can share space. Emily has not been up for much touching but she loves string toy play and seems to get lost in her own enjoyment. If you have some experience with shy cats, perhaps Emily can be the one for you?Emily is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed, microchipped and seen by our vet team.For more information on Emily or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and EMILY was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, EMILY’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the EMILY’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, EMILY’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
