MEET BLADE! Check Out His Video!This handsome guy came to us as a transfer from another shelter in the DC area. We don't know much about his background (maybe he was a spy). Blade clearly loves attention from people and craves lots of head scratches. He greets us at the kennel door purring and leaning in for pets. Blade does have some medical issues that will need monitoring by a professional so it would be great if his new family already had a relationship with a vet. We think Blade would thrive in a home where his person(s) is ready to give him the loving attention he wants. Blade is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been neutered, microchipped, and seen by our vet team.For more information on Blade or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, BLADE's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and BLADE was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, BLADE’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the BLADE’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, BLADE’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
