He’s currently living with a cat and is respectful of their space—sometimes even a little wary. He’s been cautious around young kids but calm so would do well with dog-savvy kids who can give him the time and space to warm up to them.He’s doing great with house training and has been signaling when he needs to go outside. He’s gentle on leash, and will perfect it with practice. Byakuya is crate trained and often chooses to retreat there on his own when he needs a break. While he's still taking in the world, loud or sudden movements from people or pets can startle him, but typical neighborhood noises like trucks or appliances don’t seem to phase him.Byakuya is a thoughtful and lovable pup who’s learning how to navigate the world one step at a time. He’s looking for a calm, patient home that will let him continue to build confidence at his own pace. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Byakuya Bleach was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Byakuya Bleach’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Byakuya Bleach’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Byakuya Bleach’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
