Jacky is a sweet, playful dog who loves to socialize! She does well with other dogs and would love to have a canine companion. This darling girl loves her walks, but she also knows when it's time to plop down and have a snuggle! Jacky is currently looking for her forever home; if you that that home may be yours, head on down to meet her during our open adoption hours!Currently 55 lbs.What her previous foster has to say:She is WONDERFUL with kidsShe walks well on a leash (but can pull when she sees new people or animals)She is good in a crate, but has not gotten into anything when left alone during the day for short periods of time.She is fully housebroken and sleeps through the night. She knows a few basic commandsShe LOVES toys (especially ones that she can play tug of war with) and always has one in her mouth. I would not recommend a house with cats or very little dogs because she can be a little rough and chase. She has been around M-XL dogs since being with us and has done well with all of them. She is a certified lap dog and absolutely loves attention! She gives kisses and snuggles right up to anyone who enters the house.If you are interested in meeting Jacky, please contact the shelter during our open hours; Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 10a-12:30p & 2p-4p, Thurs 10a-12:30p & 2p-6:30p, and Saturday 9a-1p to schedule a meeting. Adoption application can be filled out and approved during your meet-and-greet. If you have another dog in the home, plan to bring them for a meet before you complete the adoption!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and JACKY was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, JACKY’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the JACKY’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, JACKY’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
