About this Cat
Meet Yates, a handsome black and white neutered male cat who is looking for his forever home. At 2 years old, he is still young and full of energy, but he also has a sweet and gentle disposition. Yates may come off as a little shy at first, but once he warms up to you, he is an absolute sweetheart. He loves nothing more than to cuddle up on your lap and purr contentedly as you stroke his fur. Yates is also a playful cat and enjoys chasing toys and batting around catnip mice.Yates would do best in a quiet and calm home, where he can relax and feel safe. He would thrive in a home where he can receive plenty of attention and affection, but also has his own space to retreat to when he needs some alone time.If you are looking for a sweet and gentle cat to add to your family, consider adopting Yates. He will repay your love and kindness with endless affection and companionship.Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions are done in 30 minute appointment slots, so call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 822 to schedule an appointment or to request more information regarding a specific animal. Please leave a detailed message if team members are not at their desk. Messages are returned by close of business day, Monday through Friday. Adopters can prepare for their appointment by being 21 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit. Kittens up to 6 months of age are $100; 7 months of age up to 9 years are $75; and 10 years or older are $50.

100% of YATES's balance will be sent to whoever adopts YATES.
Adopt YATES and Receive YATES's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, YATES's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is YATES's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the YATES, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming YATES's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and YATES was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, YATES’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the YATES’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, YATES’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
