About this Cat
Mr. Babadook, aka Baba, is a 10-week-old black, cream, and white tabby kitten with four white paws. He was rescued with his two siblings at around 7 weeks old. In his three weeks with his foster family, Baba has proven to be smart, affectionate, curious, friendly, and playful. Children and adults alike have been charmed by him, and he would be a great addition to any family. He loves to play with his siblings, climbing, hanging from, and leaping from his cat tree; running through and hiding in his tunnel; and batting at a feather toy or string. He is a pro mouser, handling his mouse toys like a champ. At 8 weeks, Baba started purring when sitting in his foster’s lap. There is nothing sweeter than a kitten purr! When Baba arrived at his foster home, he tilted his head noticeably to the left and he moved his neck in a cute but unusual way. The vet identified no issues, and his odd neck movements diminished over the following weeks. Baba used the litter box on day one and is very tidy. He eats well but does not always rush to his bowl when food is served, oftentimes heading to play and then returning to graze later. He is more laid back than his siblings, but at the same time, usually gets his way in pretty much any situation. Baba is very affectionate, leaning into his fosters’ arms as they hold him or walking up to people to receive a rub. Baba is not currently up to date on vaccines or neutered but will be prior to adoption! Baba will be ready for pick up mid-July. Interested in adopting? Of course you are! Submit an application here! 100% of Baba's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Baba.
Adopt Baba and Receive Baba's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Baba's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Baba's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Baba, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Baba's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Baba was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Baba’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Baba’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Baba’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
