He’s crate trained and potty trained! Story: Henry was rescued from a shelter in South Carolina with two of his littermates. We are so happy to have him safe and sound in a foster home in the DC area now. Henry is a happy sweetie who loves people and gets along great with other dogs and puppies. He knows just how to get comfortable up on the couch with his humans, and will love to join you on walks and trots around the neighborhood. Henry is just looking for someone to be his new best furend and we know that he will repay them with endless amounts of love and tail wags. Like all dogs, Henry will need an adopter who is committed to setting him up for success by enrolling in obedience training and exercising him both mentally and physically. He will also need love, patience, and socialization in order to thrive! What my foster says: Henry is a super sweet collie/hound mix. He is great with the kids and very well behaved. He is even getting along well with our 2 cats. He is good in the crate during the day when we’re away, as well as overnight. He is crate and potty trained and can sleep through the night. He loves to meet new people and animals. He’s super trainable and will make a great addition to any family! The fee to adopt Henry is $475. That covers the cost of all his vaccines, the collar he’s wearing, his transport to DC and his care in his foster home. He’s up to date on all age appropriate vaccines. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and HENRY was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, HENRY’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the HENRY’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, HENRY’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
