About this Dog
You can see more beautiful dogs by visiting our Adoptable Dogs page. Howdy is a happy and playful pup with the most mesmerizing eyes you’ve ever seen! He can look at you and hold your attention in a way that melts your heart instantly! Howdy was a newborn when he came to rescue, and knows nothing but love and joy. He loves to lay on his back for belly rubs and to be held and petted (especially head scratches - they’re the best!). Some of his favorite things include cheese, peanut butter, and SINGING! That’s right - being the expressive pup that he is, you can often find him singing a tune to some inner music. His training is going well, as he’s already good walking on leash, is crate trained, and knows “sit,” “come” and “touch.” This sweet boy is great meeting new people and hopes to find an active family that shares his interest in playtime. Another large dog in the home to help Howdy continue to learn the ropes and have a playmate is a must; as well as a secure fenced yard.
