About this Dog
Please Note: This animal is listed as a courtesy to another organization or individual. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker for more information about him/her. Phoenix is in need of a new forever home, through no fault of his own. He is a 10 year old, 22 pound American Eskimo. He is up to date on all his shots, neutered, and has no health issues. He is crate and house trained. He loves to hike and does great with a no pull harness. He also loves squeaky toys, belly rubs and pets, and having a ball thrown for him. He initially prefers women to men, however he is very friendly and loves attention so he can be fairly quick to warm up to new people. He does have anxiety and will exhibit typical Eskie barking behavior. He had an incident with a larger off leash dog when he was younger and is now wary of bigger dogs; he may snarl or bark but has no bite history. He would do best as an only dog, or in a home with smaller dogs and currently resides with cats. It would be best to have a home without small children. For more information about Phoenix, or if you have any questions about him, please email his owners at [email protected] Rehoming fee applies

This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Pheonix of Bellevue WA was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Pheonix of Bellevue WA’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Pheonix of Bellevue WA’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Pheonix of Bellevue WA’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
