About this Cat
Hi my name is Blue and I'm a sweet boy with a sad story. I'm basically the a poster kitty for why friendly cats should never end up on the streets. I started showing up for meals at a cat colony in West Baltimore a few months ago. I was a sad, beat up, broken-hearted mess. The sadness that I felt in my heart was so visible that the locals starting calling me "sad cat. From the moment my rescuer first laid eyes on me, she just KNEW I was friendly underneath my fear and apprehension. She couldn't have been more right. Now, after a couple months with in foster care, I look and feel like a new man! My interests include ear scratches, snuggles, cat toys, and spending time with my foster mom. I've been through a lot and will need time to decompress, but once I do I'm a total lovebug. My foster mom says that I'm also a litter box champ. I am FIV positive, which means I have a slightly weaker immune system. I'll live a healthy and normal life and it is perfectly safe for me to live with other cats (and I currently do in my foster home). I don't have any special needs because of FIV, which is no biggie and FRA can send you more info if you would like. I want more than anything is to have a loving family of my own. Would you be my family?

Adopt Blue and Receive Blue's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Blue's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Blue's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Blue, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Blue's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Blue was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Blue’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Blue’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Blue’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
