About this Dog
Ruth has the biggest heart, and she's more than ready to share it with a forever human of her own. We can't speak to what events lead up to Ruth ending up in our care here at MCASAC, but we do know that whatever it was must have been so heartbreaking for this sensitive soul. She arrived as a stray with multiple wounds on her body. She must have once been a loyal, loving companion to someone, but nobody ever came for her, and all evidence we had pointed to her being abandoned...She had emotional scars to match her physical ones. Ruth is a soft, sweet girl who was overwhelmed by the sudden change in her circumstance. She shook and cowered and didn't want to take any treats, or even look at staff members. But that's the thing about dogs like Ruth. For every bit as sensitive as they are, they twice as resilient, and the love and kindness that bubbles inside them just can't be kept down for long. It only took a few days before our sweet Ruth showed us her true spirit. Today, Ruth is bright, social, friendly, and so so gentle. She looks to all the people she meets with love and hope. She loves getting belly rubs, walks in the warm grass, and meeting new people. Now, all she needs is YOU.

Adopt *RUTH and Receive *RUTH's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, *RUTH's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is *RUTH's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the *RUTH, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming *RUTH's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and *RUTH was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, *RUTH’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the *RUTH’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, *RUTH’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
