About this Dog
This 13-month-old husky mix is graceful, athletic, and quietly intelligent. She takes treats like a queen â never grabbing, always polite â and carries herself with the kind of presence that makes people stop and watch her move. On walks, sheâs curious and calm around other dogs, greeting them with confidence and healthy social interaction. In playgroups at the shelter, she is a rockstar- seriously she is our greeter dogs who we ask to read other dogs for their dog skills- solid. She loves to be near her people, even if sheâs not always ready to settle down. Sheâll rest at your feet after a walk but thrives on routine, movement, and thoughtful engagement. Sheâs getting the hang of potty training, sleeps well through the night, and prefers the cool side of the house â or better yet, a kids pool. We cannot express in words how much this girl LOVES the water. I mean she is part Husky part dolphin! This dog would flourish in a home with active people and some space to zoom (and did we mention a pool, kid pool, river, lake, puddle...). Sheâs not a couch potato (yet), and sheâs not a dog for someone who wants to wing it. But for the right person, sheâs already showing sheâll be an incredible partner â loyal, sharp, and full of heart. We just love this gal and you will to!!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and *BUFFY was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, *BUFFY’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the *BUFFY’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, *BUFFY’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
