About this Dog
Update 3/29 - Meet Randy! This 9-month-old sweetheart has been with us for two months, and we’ve learned he’s both dog- and cat-friendly! He’s crate and potty trained, knows how to give paw, and absolutely loves a strong chew toy to keep him busy. He’s still working on his confidence in public and may bark a bit when feeling overwhelmed, but with continued socialization and training, he’ll learn to navigate the world with ease. If you’re looking for a loving pup who just needs a little extra patience, Randy could be your perfect match! ---- Randy is a 7 month old pitbull mix who ended up at an overcrowded shelter in Prince George's County. He caught upper respiratory infection and was underweight, we spent numerous days thinking about him. We had two amazing fosters step up, one to help him recover and the other to take him on full time once he is nursed back to health. He would love a home with a family who will have the time and patience to train him like every young dog needs, especially after ending up in a shelter. He is still very young and working on his house training, crate training, as well as basic puppy manners. To adopt Randy, please apply at keytolionsheart.org

Adopt Randy and Receive Randy's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Randy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Randy's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Randy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Randy's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Randy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Randy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Randy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Randy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
