About this Dog
Jager is 13yo, weighs 90lbs, is neutered, but is not up to date on his vaccines nor is microchipped. His guardian adds: "He is a big teddy bear. He loves treats. He is gentle and does not jump up at all, which makes him great around little kids as well. He is fully house broken and walks well on a leash, but would do best in a home with a fenced in yard for him to wander around and 'do his business'. He does not like his nails clipped lol but he will let you if you do it quickly and give him treats. He is also cat friendly (my in-laws watched our 3 cats during our move a couple years back, and Jager didn't bother with them one bit). In my opinion, he would do best as the only dog in the home, but he successfully lived with another dog for some time, but it would have to be a low energy pup, as he does not like to be jumped on and bothered by puppy behavior." Jager's guardian explains why she has made the difficult decision to rehome him: Through no fault of his own, Jager must be rehomed because his widowed guardian must move in with family who cannot accept Jager since they have 2 dogs of their own. Jager's guardian states the following regarding children: Although Jager hasn't lived with children, his guardian recommends his living with children because "He's gentle and doesn't pay them much mind". Jager's guardian states the following regarding dogs: Although Jager has lived with a dog, his guardian recommends his living as the only dog or with a dog who is low energy, because "He is curious but doesn't take well to other dogs who get too rough". Jager's guardian states the following regarding cats: Although Jager hasn't lived with cats, his guardian recommends his living with cats, stating "He didn't pay them much mind". The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the JAGER (COURTESY POST), thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming JAGER (COURTESY POST)'s contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and JAGER (COURTESY POST) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, JAGER (COURTESY POST)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the JAGER (COURTESY POST)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, JAGER (COURTESY POST)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
