About this Dog
Courtesy post...Meet Ivy! Ivy is a stunning 5-year-old, 60-pound mixed breed with a unique blend of pit bull, husky, shepherd, and lab. She’s been a beloved part of our family since we rescued her at just 3 months old. Ivy is house and crate trained, microchipped, spayed, and up to date on all vaccinations. An adventurous and athletic pup, Ivy thrives in an active home where she can exercise frequently. She is incredibly clever, food-motivated, and loves engaging with her people. While she gets along well with other dogs, she is not suited for a home with cats and would do best in a child-free environment. Due to her herding instincts and high energy, she needs an experienced adopter who can provide structure, activity, and companionship. If you think Ivy could be the perfect fit for your home, please reach out to Sarah at 443-880-6213. ***Disclaimer*** Unfortunately, there are not enough rooms at the inn to admit every dog that needs a furever home. But, we still want to help those dogs (and cats) on their journey! By courtesy posting, AAHA is offering our website/network as an additional resource to help an owner or shelter gain additional exposure for the dog they are trying to place. AAHA has not met nor evaluated the dog (or cat) we are courtesy posting. AAHA makes no representation about courtesy posted pets including the health and temperament and accepts no liability in this exchange. Arrangements for adoptions are made between the caretaker of the pet and the potential adopter.

100% of Ivy's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Ivy.
Adopt Ivy and Receive Ivy's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Ivy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Ivy's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Ivy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Ivy's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ivy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ivy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Ivy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ivy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
