This remarkably sweet, affectionate, silly, and playful boy embodies classic young-pup energy, fluctuating between peaceful naps and energetic zoomies. Koda is mostly housebroken and knows basic commands. He has a medium energy level and enjoys leash walks - he’s super happy when the leash and harness come out, and tends to pull on the lead in his excitement. Koda doesn’t know the concept of personal space, so expect this loving boy to be your constant snuggle-bug! He thrives with other dogs and shows excellent social skills, playing well with his foster family's resident dogs and new dogs he meets on walks. He's naturally submissive and backs down when other dogs aren't interested in play, and he'd absolutely love having canine playmates in his forever home. There are no cats with his current foster, but we heard that he was great with kitties in the past, loving to cuddle with them! He's a people-lover who barks enthusiastically at strangers at the door but quickly becomes an excited greeter once they're inside. Barking is fun, and Koda loves patrolling his territory, and a 4-foot fence contains him well as he shows no desire to jump. This outdoor-loving pup enjoys being brushed and petted, absorbing all the attention he can get. Koda can be protective of his food, and will need a Pyr-experienced adopter. If you’re a fan of big-dog cuddles and have a playful pup or two who’d love a new sibling, then Koda could be your Pyr-fect match!
