Courtesy post...Meet Maisie – The Beautiful, Bouncy Mastador Looking for Her Forever Home! 13 months old | 75% English Lab, 25% English Mastiff | Female | House Trained | Up to Date on Vaccines Maisie is a stunning F1B Mastador with a heart as big as her paws! At just over a year old, this playful pup is smart, strong, and full of life. She knows all her basic obedience commands and is fully house trained—ready to bring joy, loyalty, and a little goofy charm into the right home. We aren’t Maisie’s original family, but when her last foster had no choice but to take her to the shelter, we stepped in to keep her safe and loved while she awaits her forever family. Her journey hasn’t been easy—given up due to her large size and playful nature being too much for a home with a toddler, then bounced between homes where not all resident dogs welcomed her. Despite it all, Maisie continues to shine with resilience and affection. Maisie can be anxious meeting new people, but once she trusts you, she becomes deeply bonded and incredibly loving. She thrives with structure, patience, and lots of play. Because of her size and strength, we recommend an experienced owner and no small children under 10—she’s still in her puppy phase and doesn’t quite know how big and strong she is! The Good Stuff: Smart and obedient House trained Playful and affectionate Learning to be cat-friendly (closely supervised and doing well!) Good with some dogs (she plays nicely with our dog Chester!) Loves to romp in a yard Up to date on vaccinations What She Needs: A strong, confident adopter experienced with big dogs A home without other dominant or reactive dogs No small children while she grows out of her puppy exuberance A yard to burn off her energy Continued training and socialization Spay to be completed (not yet spayed) Maisie is an incredible companion for someone looking for a loyal, intelligent, and fun-loving best friend. She’s had a rough start but deserves a stable, committed forever home where she can truly thrive. Could that be with you? Currently fostered in a loving home and available to meet serious adopters. Let’s give this sweet girl the fresh start she deserves! Contact Laura at [email protected] ***Disclaimer*** Unfortunately, there are not enough rooms at the inn to admit every dog that needs a furever home. But, we still want to help those dogs (and cats) on their journey! By courtesy posting, AAHA is offering our website/network as an additional resource to help an owner or shelter gain additional exposure for the dog they are trying to place. AAHA has not met nor evaluated the dog (or cat) we are courtesy posting. AAHA makes no representation about courtesy posted pets including the health and temperament and accepts no liability in this exchange. Arrangements for adoptions are made between the caretaker of the pet and the potential adopter.

Adopt Maisie and Receive Maisie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Maisie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Maisie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Maisie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Maisie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Maisie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Maisie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Maisie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Maisie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
