About this Dog
Name: Kush Approximate breed: Lab mix Gender: Female Approximate age: 11 months Approximate weight: 47 lbs Vetting/Vaccinations: Up to date Spayed/Neutered: Yes Good with Children: Yes, 8+yo Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Yes Housetrained: Yes Crate Trained: Yes Ideal Family: Any Adoption Fee: $550 Kush was found as a stray in an area down south that has a heartbreaking number of dogs without homes. She luckily crossed paths with one of our rescue friends who took her in and got her vetted. Our rescue friend helps SO many dogs in need, so NELR was happy to help them find this little sweetie a forever home up here in New England. She was originally named “Angel” but quickly earned the new nickname “Kush” after showing her love for all things cushy and comfy, and she will curl up in them every chance she gets! It also matches her sweet personality that is soft, gentle, and wants to be surrounded by comfort and love. She gets along well with everyone, including cats, but would enjoy the less loud/more predictable company of slightly older kiddos. She also gets along with other dogs but would be delighted to be an only-dog to really get that pampered life with all the pats, beds, toys, and attention for once She is going to be so fun to spoil! Kush is loving home and family life and is potty & crate trained, but is still young and would do great with some basic positive reinforcement training to help her grow into the best family member as well as strengthen your bond together. She is ready to bring love, joy, and a whole lot of cuddles and comfort to her forever family! Does Kush sound like the sweetie for you? Fill out an adoption application today! All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending. We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes. We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.

100% of Kush's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Kush.
Adopt Kush and Receive Kush's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Kush's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Kush's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Kush, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Kush's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kush was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kush’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Kush’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kush’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
