This beauty queen is Roxy. She showed up as a stray on a family's outdoor couch ready to deliver her babies. Unfortunately, she had a rough delivery & had to go to the emergency vet where one puppy died and the other lived. The vet estimates Roxy as 1.5-2 years old. She is heartworm positive but will be treated shortly after she is spayed in mid July 2024. She is current on all other vaccines, flea/tick prevention & will be microchipped before adoption. Roxy was obviously not treated very kindly before she arrived at her fosters home but she has warmed up quickly and learned to trust them. She loves other dogs and is great with kids. Roxy loves going for car and boat rides. She has even gotten to go tubing. (perks of your foster parents living on the lake) Roxy is eager to please and would love nothing more than to lay her head in your lap and snuggle up to you on the couch. She is very obedient and learned to sit in just one day. Roxy would make a great addition to a loving family who understands that it may take her a little time to trust you; but once she does, she is dedicated to you! Let's get this girl the home she deserves; the home she should've had all along. :)

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Roxy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Roxy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Roxy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Roxy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
