*** Check Out My Video Album Below! *** Meet Hazel, a young "Pocket Pyr" with a stunning long, soft fur coat adorned with gorgeous black markings! This sweet girl was picked up as a stray by Animal Control in Louisiana and is now ready to find her forever home. While Hazel is naturally shy and timid as she adjusts to rescue life, she truly comes alive when surrounded by her canine companions, looking to them for guidance and confidence. Her activity level soars when she has other dogs to play with, making her the perfect addition to a multi-dog household. Hazel has already mastered crate training and finds great comfort in her safe space, and she’s learning to walk on leash. This water-loving pup has discovered the joy of swimming and absolutely loves beach adventures and splashing through creeks. She's also quite the foodie who can't resist a good treat! - she’s not picky and looks forward to tasting all the local cuisine! She enjoys both indoor and outdoor time, but her preference is always to have canine friends nearby for companionship and play. The ideal home for Hazel would include at least one other dog, specifically a playful male canine companion who can help build her confidence and provide the social interaction she craves. A 4-foot fenced yard would allow her to safely explore and play, while patient adopters who understand she may need time to warm up would help her blossom into the loving companion she's meant to be.
