About this Rabbit
Tootsie is an owner surrender that came to us off of our wait list in October 2020 when her owners had to move. She was adopted in early 2021 but returned in May with her bonded buddy Tewkesbury. She is around 5 years old. Tootsie is funny and curious, but a little stand offish until she warms up to you. Tootsie prefers to come to you on her terms, she will box/grunt attempt to bite if she is not approached properly. She would probably be best understood in a bunny experienced home that does not have children. They do great in a large pen or free roaming, and do not chew on the rug in their current habitat. Spay/neuter: 10/16/20 @ Azalea Lakes Vet Fecal test: negative 12/15/24 @ Azalea Lakes Vet Last weight: 3.4lbs 12/15/24 Medgene RHDV2 vaccine dates: 12/15/24 (original boosters: 11/21/21 & 12/18/21, 12/18/22, 12/18/23) This pet is fostered in Baker, LA. The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Tootsie & Tewkesbury, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Tootsie & Tewkesbury's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tootsie & Tewkesbury was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tootsie & Tewkesbury’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Tootsie & Tewkesbury’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tootsie & Tewkesbury’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
