About this Rabbit
Felix was an owner surrender that came to us originally in September 2020, adopted, and then returned in July 2022 with his buddy Ponyo. Felix was born approx Feb 2020. Felix is not a fan of loud places or commotion (he can handle a little here and there, but not prolonged) but in a quiet environment he is super friendly and does lots of binkies! In his comfort zone he is also easily handled for nail trims and grooming, but does not do as well with change. He is fine with large gentle dogs that pretty much ignore him. He also uses the litterbox very well. He & his buddy Ponyo must be adopted together as they are best friends. Ponyo is outgoing & brave, and Felix may follow where Ponyo goes when he is nervous. They LOVE dill, not big fans of canned pumpkin. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Felix & Ponyo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Felix & Ponyo’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Felix & Ponyo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Felix & Ponyo’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
