About this Dog
Meet Jersey—aka Jersey Boy, aka J-Man, aka Jersey-John, aka Meatball von Waddlebutt! This 1–2-year-old, 45-pound potato with legs is an absolute delight! Stocky, goofy, and full of heart, Jersey has bounced back with an amazing temperament despite being abandoned twice—something we’ll never understand because he’s simply the best boy.Jersey is crate trained and does great overnight, during meals, and for longer stretches during the day. He knows basic commands like “sit,” “lay down,” and “paw,” and is currently learning “wait” and better leash manners. While he starts off walks with enthusiasm (and a little pulling), he tends to tire quickly—short, fun outings are perfect for him.He currently lives with a smaller male dog and has done well meeting other pups of all sizes. He’d do fine in a home with children, though toddlers might need supervision since Jersey has a habit of bulldozing through anything in his path. Cats? Probably not his vibe.Jersey is an energy-matcher. He’ll lounge around and entertain himself with toys, but he also loves a good ride with the windows down or a stroll through the park. He’s always smiling, always wagging, and full of joy. From his foster:"Jersey is the happiest foster dog I’ve ever had! He’s smiling and wagging and playing from the moment he wakes up to the moment he rolls off the couch for bed.”Ready to add a little meatball magic to your life? Jersey’s your guy!
Contribute to Jersey's Stash!

100% of Jersey's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Jersey.
Adopt Jersey and Receive Jersey's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Jersey's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Jersey's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Jersey, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Jersey's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Jersey was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Jersey’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Jersey’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Jersey’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
