About this Dog
*** Check Out My Video Album Below! *** Gordo, the pocket Pyr weighing in at 65 pounds would love a home where he can get lots of attention - he doesn’t have a shy bone in his body! Gordo likes meeting new people, always greeting with a smile on his face and his tail wagging – he could easily be the head of a greeting committee! This boy does not require another dog to play with, so he’s that perfect boy for the family looking for an only dog or who has an older dog just wanting a companion. Gordo is house broken, responds to his name and is learning to walk nicely on a leash without pulling. He knows how to sit on command and is especially fond of receiving treats for being such a good boy! He is a smart boy who enjoys training sessions—he soaks up the attention. He loves to run around the yard exploring, but then is happy to settle down in a comfortable place in the house for a nap. He is crate trained, where he is comforted during a storm and a little assurance. Gordo will happily jump into a vehicle for a ride—a perfect companion to take for a hike or running errands. His smiling eyes look at you, waiting for your love. He would do great in a home with a secure, 5-foot fenced yard and people with big dog experience to give him plenty of guidance. A cat or two would be great as well! This boy is happy to be the center of your universe so if you are looking for a new best friend, Gordo is your man!
