About this Dog
You can see more beautiful dogs by visiting our Adoptable Dogs page. Yeti—a young Pyr boy, is a friendly pup with a great PYRsonality! Yeti came to rescue with his brother from a local shelter—they were found wandering and ended up in jail not to be reclaimed. Yeti has quickly learned to walk nicely on a leash, will go right into a crate and is learning housebreaking. He is such a good boy, standing nicely for grooming and pedicures. Yeti is a smart guy who catches on to what his person asks very quickly—he understands “down” and “sit” and is especially motivated with a treat. Yeti is very friendly with new people, reaching his head out to see what they are about—he has learned that people mean more rubs and attention. Cats—they are okay, but they won’t play with him, so he quickly looses interest. Dogs on the other hand are fun!—he greets females and males with a tail wag and is ready for a game of chase. He has not yet learned to play with a toy but enjoys exploring the yard when not playing with his doggie pals, so a dog in his new home is important! Yeti is a young boy, so will need a family with big dog experience and plenty of guidance to help him become the best Pyr he can be! He also wanted us to tell you he would love to go for long walks, hikes and loves extra belly rubs!
