About this Cat
Just a little younger than his foster siblings, Basil is the perfect mix of playful energy and heart-melting affection. Raised as a bottle baby from day one, he’s a total momma’s boy with a deep bond to his humans—and a serious talent for stealing hearts. Basil is always up for a game or kitten adventure, but when it’s time to wind down, he’s looking for love. His favorite spot? Perched on his foster mom’s shoulder while she works—keeping an eye on everything and soaking up all the attention. He’s also had some positive interactions with dogs and is handling them like a champ, making him a great candidate for a home with a respectful pup. And did we mention the bedhead? Basil rocked the most adorable messy fur for weeks, and though it’s finally smoothed out, the cuteness is definitely here to stay. If you're looking for a playful, affectionate kitten who loves snuggles, shoulder rides, and would be happy in a multi-species household, Basil is your guy! I am a Feline Leukemia positive kitty, so I'm only supposed to hang out with other feline leukemia kitties like me or ones that are vaccinated for Feline Leukemia. Feline Leukemia also means that I will most likely have a shorter life span than most cats, but I will be your best friend for all of it! Estimated DOB: 3/19/2025 The adoption fee is waived, and we will cover any veterinary expenses related to feline leukemia for the lifetime of the cat. Adoption fee: waived but donations always appreciated. We would love to hear from you! Adopt Basil Bitty and Receive Basil Bitty's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Basil Bitty's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Basil Bitty's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Basil Bitty, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Basil Bitty's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Basil Bitty was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Basil Bitty’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Basil Bitty’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Basil Bitty’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
