About this Dog
From Glitter: What I am looking for in my perfect home. Someone who LOVES water as much as I do. I love to swim in my fosters small pool Someone who is active and wants to take me on walks or play around in the backyard. Someone who will let me join them on car rides as I do really well on them. I lived outside most of my life but that is not the life I prefer; I enjoy being around my people. I LOVE to give hugs! I do well with other dogs after I have been introduced to them, I do tend to bark at them if I cannot meet them. However I do not want to share my food with other dogs. I am used to eating on my own. I do tend to mark my territory in new places but once I have settled, I stop doing this but may want to keep an eye on me when you first take me home. I really am a great dog if you would take a chance on me. I would not do well around small animals as they look like fun toys. Cats are okay but if they run, I will chase them so would be better in a home without cats for safety reasons. If you made it this far, I have one last thing to say, I ENJOY running so a fenced in back yard or a leash is a must while I am outside. I enjoy the chase and it feels like a fun game, but I don’t want to get lost. Estimated DOB: 7/2/2018 Adoption fee- $ 25 ( I have been sponsored!) Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Glitter's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Glitter was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Glitter’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Glitter’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Glitter’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
